The Scottish Closed Ballroom And Latin Championships 2010

In spite of being two months later than planned because of the severe weather in December the 2010 Scottish Closed was a huge success and enjoyed by all when it eventually took place in the Marriott Hotel, Glasgow on 6th February 2011.

This year we had a Latin demonstration by Ben Hardwick and Lucy Jones who were well received by the capacity audience.  Unfortunately Ben and Lucy have since split their partnership so we were lucky to get them while they were both together!!

It was a great night for Tibor Poc and Hilary Mouat who were delighted winners of both the Modern and Latin Championships.  Ewan and Julia Wallace were equally delighted winners of the Scottish Closed Senior Modern Championship. 

Judges for the event were Warren Brown Jr., June Day, Ruth Horrocks, Norma Millar and David Roberts (Chairman)
