The Scottish Closed Championships 2009

The Scottish Closed Championships 2009 held in the Marriott Hotel Glasgow in December were a huge success and lived up to expectations as the highlight of the Scottish Calendar.

Demonstrators Marco Cavallaro and Joanne Clifton (pictured) had the audience eating out of their hand and delighted them with their stunning display.  Their unrehearsed encore earned them a standing ovation.

Winners of the coveted Scottish Closed Championship titles were Tibor Poc and Hilary Mouat who won the amateur modern, Robin and Marianne Sudell winning the Amateur Latin and Jim and Laura Carroll winners of the Senior Modern.
